What you will do
- Provide independent primary clinical care.
- Transport individuals safely during emergency and non-emergency responses and inter-facility transfers.
- Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment according to patient needs and public safety requirements.
- Follow the National Occupational Competency Profile, Saskatchewan College of Paramedics requirements, and organizational policies and protocols.
- Work collaboratively while supporting patient safety and a respectful workplace.
Requirements
- Meet all legislated requirements for Primary Care Paramedics in Saskatchewan.
- Be registered with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics or eligible for registration.
- Submit a valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver’s Licence or equivalent with the resume.
- Submit current ITLS and CPR C for Health Care Providers certifications.
- Submit a current clean criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and driver’s abstract within the stated validity periods.
- Be able to work all assigned shifts, maintain reliable attendance, demonstrate confidentiality, professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and effective teamwork.
