Occupational Therapist (Allied Health) (Rehabilitation): Providing assessment, treatment planning, follow-up, and program evaluation for inpatient and outpatient clients across surgical, medical, intensive care, stroke, geriatric rehabilitation, neuro rehabilitation, and hand clinic settings with an accent on physical, cognitive, and functional recovery. Focus on designing individualized treatment plans, coordinating interdisciplinary care, supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants, and supporting quality improvement.
Location: In-person hospital and community clinical role in Ontario
Salary: CAD $40.36–$56.30 per hour

What you will do
- Assess clients and referrals, prioritize interventions, and coordinate referrals to appropriate healthcare and community programs.
- Develop, implement, follow up on, and evaluate individualized treatment plans for physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
- Support patients and caregivers in setting treatment goals and participating in ongoing plan adjustments.
- Assign treatment components to and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Mentor learners, new graduates, and new hires while contributing to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited university occupational therapy program.
- Current registration with, or eligibility for registration with, the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario is required.
- Maintain a current professional portfolio and participate in the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario audit process as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
- Patient-focused, flexible, adaptable, organized, and able to prioritize effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of community resources and behaviour consistent with hospital standards and iCcare values.
