Technician Laboratory/QC

Location: Pampa, Texas, United States. Onsite role supporting all Pampa facilities on a rotating 12-hour schedule.

What you will do

• Perform product and raw-material testing on carbon blacks and carbon black feedstock using laboratory devices and instrumentation.
• Set up and operate testing equipment for new and special tests.
• Identify and promptly communicate out-of-specification results to facility operations to support corrective action.
• Record and enter test data in spreadsheets and the Laboratory Information Management System.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment, notify laboratory leadership about supply needs, and support continuous improvement.
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and Responsible Care 14001 guidelines.

Requirements

• High school education with technical or vocational training; a two-year college or technical degree in math or science is preferred.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing, mathematics, algebra, and problem-solving.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook, including data entry and written communication.
• Ability to work overtime or call-outs, lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, operate laboratory equipment, and complete essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
