Senior IT Business Analyst (Azure): Supporting enterprise application development, modernization, digital transformation, and cloud migration initiatives with an accent on requirements analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on managing Azure DevOps backlogs, modeling business processes, supporting UAT and defect triage, and documenting integrations for Azure-hosted modernization projects.

What you will do
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and business workshops.
- Analyze current-state processes, model workflows, perform gap analysis, and design future-state processes.
- Translate business needs into business and functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process flows.
- Manage product backlogs and requirements in Azure DevOps while supporting Agile delivery activities.
- Document integration, API, security, and data exchange requirements and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
- Support testing, defect triage, UAT, production deployments, Azure modernization, and legacy application migrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of business analysis experience on enterprise application projects.
- At least 7 years of experience in application development support, system modernization, digital transformation, technical documentation, testing, requirements validation, and Azure DevOps or similar ALM platforms.
- At least 7 years of experience with business process analysis, gap analysis, workflow modeling, and future-state process design.
- At least 3 years of experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
- At least 1 year of Visual Studio .NET exposure and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Nice to have
- Public sector, workforce, education, or human services systems experience.
- Experience with Azure cloud modernization and migration of legacy applications to Azure-hosted platforms.
- Large-scale enterprise implementation experience.
- Strong Agile and SDLC knowledge, including API integrations and enterprise data exchange processes.
