Systems Administrator IV (Windows/Linux)

Location: Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, United States; onsite work in an office/warehouse setting

What you will do

• Perform Windows and Linux systems administration, including configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support Nutanix virtualization environments through VM provisioning, configuration, and performance checks.
• Maintain configuration baselines, engineering change records, system documentation, and sustainment artifacts.
• Implement and validate patch requirements under IAVA, TCNO, and NOTAM directives.
• Support test and development environments, service accounts, directory services, and configuration control.
• Provide initial diagnostics, contribute to root-cause investigations, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least nine years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Secret level.
• DoD 8140 WRC 722 Intermediate-level certification required, such as GMON, SecurityX/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP.
• Ability to comply with cybersecurity patch directives and sustainment processes.
• Ability to perform recurring physical activities, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
