Manufacturing Engineer II (Medtech)

Location: On-site in Cartago, Costa Rica; Shift B, Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm

Manufacturing engineering operations focused on commercializing new products and improving production processes in a regulated cleanroom environment.

What you will do

• Develop manufacturing technology and robust solutions for new product commercialization.
• Provide hands-on process engineering support in cleanroom production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-floor issues.
• Improve product quality, equipment performance, and manufacturing processes.
• Apply engineering judgment while maintaining compliance with GMP and ISO 13485 standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 2 years of engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency at B2 or above for global-team interaction and documentation.
• Detailed knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and cleanroom practices.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, IQ/OQ/PQ, and FDA/ISO regulations.
• Competence with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
