Technology Engineering Manager (Manufacturing Automation)

Location: hirify.global Heredia, Costa Rica; onsite role

Salary: ₡35,981,896.8–₡53,972,845.2 annually

What you will do

• Plan, organize, supervise, and control process automation and machinery optimization projects.
• Design and execute low-cost manufacturing automation projects to improve efficiency and reduce reliance on manual labor.
• Redesign and optimize plant machinery and equipment to increase installed capacity and improve cycle times.
• Manage the automation engineering budget and ensure return on investment through cost-effective solutions.
• Lead engineers and technicians while promoting performance, professional development, and safety.
• Create work plans and Gantt charts and implement Lean Manufacturing and 6S standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Project Management.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SAP, MS Project, statistical software such as Minitab or JMP, and statistical tools.
• Experience with Six Sigma documentation, Lean Manufacturing, personnel management, failure analysis, measurement systems, and management systems.
• Problem-solving, conflict resolution, synthesis, organization, negotiation, teamwork, and innovation skills.
