Location: London, with hybrid working across the London and Colchester Finance team

What you will do
- Support financial controllership and reporting for three managed syndicates, the managing agent, and the corporate member.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and analyse accounting ledgers and balance sheet accounts.
- Support Lloyd’s quarterly and annual regulatory returns, including QMA, SITUS, NAIC, TRIA, SII, SUK, RRQ, and annual accounts.
- Prepare Lloyd’s results commentary covering balance sheet, profit and loss, and key performance indicators.
- Maintain effective financial controls, support audits, and ensure accounting policies are followed.
- Improve reporting processes and coach team members on syndicate accounting and reporting.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant or relevant senior accounting and Lloyd’s reporting experience.
- Degree-level education or demonstrable experience in syndicate financial accounting and reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of Lloyd’s reporting requirements, IFRS 17, and UK GAAP.
- Strong IT skills, with exposure to data modelling software and accounting ledgers.
- Experience working with distributed teams and stakeholders across different locations.
- Flexible approach and willingness to contribute across different levels of the function.
