What you will do
- Lead and mentor the AI Center of Excellence development team, including junior and mid-level AI developers and interns.
- Own sprint planning, backlog execution, delivery reporting, code reviews, and risk management.
- Design and build complex enterprise AI solutions, including agentic workflows, LLM applications, skills, and connector-based automations.
- Consult with business units and Forward-Deployed Engineers to turn ambiguous needs into buildable solutions.
- Prototype and productionize patterns such as natural-language queries over governed data, document generation, and incident summarization.
- Define development standards and reusable patterns covering testing, documentation, versioning, release management, access controls, data flows, and prompt-injection safeguards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software and/or data analytics development experience.
- 2+ years leading or managing developers, including 1+ year building Generative AI or LLM-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM applications, agentic workflows, or AI-powered automations connected to enterprise systems and APIs.
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms and frameworks such as Claude/Anthropic API, Azure OpenAI, MCP-style tool integrations, and RAG architectures.
- Experience with sprint planning, backlog management, code reviews, agile delivery, stakeholder communication, and predictable releases.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps practices, including evaluation, monitoring, versioning, and cost management.
- Retail or consumer-products industry experience.
- Experience building cross-functional teams and developing team capabilities.
