Heavy Equipment Operator (Petroleum Coke)

Location: Port Arthur, Texas, United States; onsite terminal work

What you will do

• Operate overhead cranes, D9 and D10 dozers, excavators, forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, loaders, and related terminal equipment.
• Move, level, distribute, cut, store, and load petroleum coke for vessel operations.
• Monitor and operate coke-cutting equipment, ship loaders, and associated systems.
• Inspect, lubricate, clean, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety procedures, use required PPE, maintain housekeeping, and report unsafe or maintenance conditions.
• Work with drilling, supervision, maintenance, and other terminal personnel during normal and emergency operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Eight months to one year of heavy equipment operating experience, especially with D9 dozers or track hoes.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and meet foreign trade zone entry requirements.
• Must pass required safety certifications, DISA testing, respiratory fit testing, and facility background checks.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds, climb equipment and ladders, work at heights, and work outdoors in dust, noise, vibration, fumes, and varying weather conditions.
