AI/ML Consultant

Location: Remote from anywhere in Europe

What you will do

• Assess existing AI technologies, data assets, organizations, processes, and software development tools.
• Support private equity firms and investment companies with technical due diligence, identifying technology strengths, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Drive AI assessment engagements, conduct deep technical analysis, and prepare reports for investors.
• Design and implement solutions, including Agile methodology transformations and hands-on AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and client technical leads and team members.
• Guide and mentor junior software developers and engineers while progressing from apprentice consultant to project lead.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, machine learning, or analytical AI, including experience as a senior or lead scientist or analytics/ML/AI leader.
• Expert-level knowledge of data mining, statistics, machine learning, analytical AI, and generative AI.
• Experience evaluating data assets, selecting and training models, fine-tuning, measuring model efficacy, and managing bias.
• Current knowledge of the LLM landscape, MLOps tooling, cloud and self-hosting options, and related economics.
• Experience with multimodal AI, including text, NLP, voice, images, and video, as well as AI-enabled software engineering.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in Europe, work independently, collaborate effectively, and learn new areas outside the initial area of expertise.
