What you will do

• Evaluate, functionally test, service, and perform basic troubleshooting on new and used medical devices.
• Use electronic test equipment and written procedures to test products and troubleshoot test-system setups.
• Learn product test systems and circuit functions, distinguishing real failures from false failures.
• Record product and quality information electronically or in writing.
• Cross-train across work areas, support process improvements, and communicate issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Handle or service used or recycled medical devices while following protective-equipment and safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of test and troubleshooting experience with electronic or electrical equipment, or equivalent work experience.
• Full comprehension of written and spoken English is required because training and knowledge testing are conducted in English.
• Basic understanding of circuits and the ability to read and interpret basic schematic drawings.
• Ability to follow detailed medical-device procedures and regulatory requirements precisely throughout the work shift.
• High attention to detail, willingness to learn, teamwork, and ability to work at the required pace.
