Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional

Location: Onsite at the Health Center in Gainesville, Florida. Full-time Monday–Friday dayshift, with an occasional Saturday shift, typically no more than once per month.

What you will do

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, groups, couples, and families.
• Assess and diagnose psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns using clinical assessments and patient records.
• Apply evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS.
• Support patients with stress, substance abuse, family concerns, grief, loss, and relationship issues while establishing treatment goals.
• Participate in consultation, case management, care coordination, referrals, and integrated clinical care activities.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and clinical records.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or an equivalent field.
• Active mental health clinician licensure meeting applicable state requirements, such as LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, or LCPC. LMSW is not accepted across states.
• CAMS certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• 4+ years of experience in behavioral health or a related field.
• Prior counseling experience with behavioral health conditions, including depression, mood disorders, substance dependency, family counseling, marital relationships, grief, and loss.
• Experience with crisis management, abuse reporting, suicide prevention and treatment, cultural competence, and patient referral management.
