What you will do

• Produce, write, shoot, edit, and present lifestyle stories and feature segments for broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms.
• Cover community events, local businesses, entertainment, health, lifestyle, and human-interest stories.
• Create promotional and editorial content for Daytime Buffalo, including segment teases, sponsored content, and station initiatives.
• Publish web articles, feature stories, short-form videos, reels, stories, and live social content.
• Conduct in-studio and on-location interviews with community leaders, business owners, nonprofit organizations, entertainers, and special guests.
• Provide occasional on-air hosting and contributor support while collaborating with producers, sales, creative services, and newsroom staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Television Production, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience as a multimedia journalist, content creator, reporter, host, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong storytelling, writing, interviewing, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Comfort appearing on television, digital, and social platforms, with a strong on-camera presence.
• Ability to shoot and edit video using professional cameras and non-linear editing software.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and community events.
