On-Air Correspondent (Entertainment News)

What you will do

• Conduct studio and remote interviews and present entertainment news segments for broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
• Develop, research, and pitch stories covering celebrity news, pop culture, current events, and cultural trends.
• Collaborate with producers, hosts, field teams, and executives to plan lively show topics and advance stories.
• Write, shoot, edit, source, and clear footage for digital posts and linear broadcast segments.
• Plan and contribute to digital and social coverage across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and Facebook.
• Produce integrated content in collaboration with sales teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Prior on-air experience, strong presentation and public-speaking skills, and a professional on-air presence.
• Ability to ad-lib and improvise in varied on-air situations while meeting intense and shifting deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of entertainment, pop culture, current events, and stories that generate audience interest.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and availability for late nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Understanding of editorial judgment, journalistic ethics, libel and slander laws, and applicable FCC rules.
• Experience working across multiple linear and digital platforms.
