Lean Specialist (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite

Salary: $54,300–$100,800 per year

What you will do

• Train, coach, and challenge process owners in lean tools, approaches, and techniques.
• Facilitate Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, PDCA/problem-solving, CCF, and waste-identification activities.
• Lead multiple improvement projects, coordinating internal and external resources to deliver on time and to quality standards.
• Investigate and analyze production methods to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate waste.
• Identify, share, and implement manufacturing best practices.
• Compare pre- and post-improvement results to quantify financial savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing or lean experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing concepts and practices.
• Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business conditions and support new processes.
