Manager, Financial Reporting (SEC/US GAAP)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States. On-site, full-time position.

Compensation: $115,000–$140,000 per year plus bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.

What you will do

• Lead quarterly and annual consolidated financial statement preparation in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Prepare monthly consolidated reporting for lenders and business partners in collaboration with Treasury, Finance, and Legal.
• Manage statutory financial statements for international subsidiaries under IFRS and other local accounting bases.
• Research complex transactions, including debt and equity, consolidation, leases, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda and coordinate external audits, reviews, audit requests, and walkthroughs.
• Design, maintain, and improve SOX-compliant financial reporting controls and remediation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Six or more years of accounting and audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, financial consolidations, and SOX internal controls.
• Excellent technical writing, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Experience at a large public accounting firm or with a large corporate filer.
• Experience preparing statutory financial statements under IFRS or other local accounting bases.
• Experience with IPO readiness or initial SOX implementation.
• Familiarity with Workiva, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar financial reporting systems.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, data centers, or another capital-intensive sector.
