EHS Analytical Laboratory Technician (LC-MS)

Location: Office-based in Zwijndrecht, Belgium. Relocation is not authorized.

What you will do

• Support liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS) testing operations.
• Prepare environmental samples, including sample containers and target-compound extraction.
• Run LC-MS instruments and log analytical data.
• Collaborate with researchers and laboratory technicians in different locations.
• Follow EHS policies, identify hazards, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, life sciences, or chemical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with pipettes, analytical balances, centrifuges, and SPE manifolds.
• Strong volumetric techniques and understanding of dilution calculations.
• Knowledge of sample preparation techniques, including solid phase extraction.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience in an industrial or commercial testing laboratory.
• Experience with LC-MS instrumentation.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
