Vice President of AI

What you will do

• Own the vision and roadmap for AI/ML engineering strategy and align technical capabilities with business objectives.
• Build, scale, mentor, and retain high-performing AI engineering teams across distributed environments.
• Drive the architecture, deployment, optimization, monitoring, and iteration of production machine learning systems.
• Partner with product, data science, and infrastructure teams to integrate AI into platforms and customer solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt AI technologies, frameworks, and tools while maintaining engineering rigor and operational stability.
• Establish AI engineering standards, model lifecycle management, responsible AI governance, and executive-level communication.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership or architect role.
• Proven experience shipping production machine learning systems at scale.
• Experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams and developing technical talent.
• Deep fluency in modern ML frameworks, infrastructure, and tooling, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Kubernetes, or MLOps platforms.
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on technical credibility and strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Must be based in the United States.
