Associate Data Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; hybrid work with office attendance 6 days per month

What you will do

• Analyse potential damages, settlement recoveries, and litigation outcomes in securities class actions.
• Collect, validate, and interpret financial, trading, market, legal, and litigation data.
• Research court filings, settlement notices, regulatory filings, securities markets, and institutional investors.
• Support financial, statistical, and predictive models, including loss estimates, price-drop analyses, and case valuations.
• Maintain internal databases, analytical tools, tables, charts, and client-facing analytics.
• Contribute to research processes, analytical methodologies, and internal tool improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Law, or a related field.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, research, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience analysing complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in the Copenhagen hybrid setup.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data-analysis and statistical software.
• Background in financial analysis, investment research, data analytics, or business research.
• Familiarity with SEC Forms 13F, 13D, and 13G.
• Knowledge of securities markets, institutional investment management, financial instruments, or large financial datasets.
• Interest in securities litigation, class actions, or litigation analytics.
