Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor MEP (Pharmaceutical Project)

Location: Beijing, China; on-site

Cost management and quantity surveying services for pharmaceutical construction projects.

What you will do

• Support the settlement of construction disputes, loss and expense claims, commercial issues, change orders, and contract matters.
• Prepare and agree final accounts, including claims, to help clients achieve best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Prepare cost documentation and communicate timely information to support project management and decision-making.
• Participate in tender and bid processes, from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Monitor project spend through valuations and cost reports, and communicate variations to the project team.

Requirements

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management across varied projects.
• A degree or comparable experience in cost management or a construction discipline.
• Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel for short periods to meet clients, partners, and team members.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
