Freelance Event Specialist (Events)

Location: On-site in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico; candidates must already be based there. No relocation packages are offered.

What you will do

• Prepare for events through virtual planning meetings with corporate, nonprofit, venue, and hirify.global stakeholders.
• Set up, coordinate, and break down in-person events, including cleaning sites and repackaging materials.
• Lead onsite teams and represent hirify.global as the event coordinator and problem solver.
• Manage guest check-in, group dynamics, customer experience, and event communications.
• Resolve issues involving supplies, staffing, technology, and other event logistics.
• Pack supplies, apply shipping labels, and load boxes for return shipment.

Requirements

• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Already based in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
• Experience with complex large-scale events and intimate executive-level events.
• Strong organization, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and ability to solve problems under pressure.
• Experience with group facilitation, customer service, and managing large crowds.
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends, local travel, and per-event contract assignments.
