Software Engineer II (C#/.NET)

Location: Tysons, Virginia, United States; employees work from the office 4 days a week

Base salary: $88,300–$122,500 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain C#/.NET backend services across the Video domain, including device lifecycle management and device-based features.
• Build and maintain customer-facing web user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Own features from ambiguous requirements through design, implementation, testing, release, and production support.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews while providing constructive feedback.
• Debug issues across environments, identify root causes, and deliver durable fixes.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and rigorously validate generated code for correctness, security, edge cases, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and professional C#/.NET experience.
• Familiarity with Ember, Angular, Vue, React, or another modern frontend framework.
• Experience with SQL databases, DML operations, stored procedures, indexing, batching, and performant queries.
• Experience creating and maintaining unit tests and delivering work end-to-end.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or messaging technologies.
• Experience working with IoT and hardware.
• Experience with observability, logging, error handling, and production monitoring.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into professional engineering workflows.
