Software Developer - Java Experience

Location: Edinburgh, United Kingdom, with hybrid working and travel to client sites anywhere in the UK when needed. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Develop front-end, back-end, and integration solutions.
• Work with Java and other technologies across the full software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to DevOps, service support, workflow planning, and process optimization.
• Implement customer requirements and design new features and overall solutions.
• Participate in quality assurance, unit testing, and an on-call support rotation.
• Collaborate daily with the team and contribute to end-to-end delivery.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the IT industry.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• Experience with Java, databases such as MongoDB, SQL, or document databases, and unit testing.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle and involvement in delivering major IT solutions.
• Understanding of agile tools and techniques, with strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel to UK client sites when required.
