Architectural Specification Manager (Construction)

Location: Hybrid role covering Oxford, London, East Anglia, and the stated UK locations of Bracknell, Grays, and Reading.

What you will do

• Provide technical and specification support to architects, designers, and main contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend product and system solutions aligned with design intent, performance, and compliance requirements.
• Create and manage project-specific technical specifications and bespoke engineered solutions.
• Manage a pipeline of architectural and contractor-led projects, tracking progress from design through construction and order conversion.
• Deliver CPD presentations and design workshops for architectural and contractor clients.
• Maintain CRM records and coordinate with commercial, sales, and technical colleagues on project handover.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience creating bespoke engineered solutions for construction projects.
• Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, relevant standards, and construction detailing.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and plans.
• Proficiency with construction design software and Microsoft packages.
• Experience managing architectural specifications and supporting design teams from early design through delivery.
• Strong communication, presentation, organisation, and relationship management skills.

• Familiarity with the RIBA Plan of Work.
