TL;DR
PHP/Laravel Developer (eCommerce): Building and extending a healthcare eCommerce platform based on WordPress and WooCommerce with an accent on custom plugins, APIs, third-party integrations, and performance optimisation. Focus on developing backend and full-stack functionality, improving platform stability and scalability, and integrating external systems.
Location: Hybrid, with 2–3 days per week on site at the Nottingham office, United Kingdom.
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 per year.

What you will do
- Build and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce-based eCommerce systems.
- Develop custom plugins, themes, and backend functionality with PHP and Laravel.
- Design and integrate APIs and third-party systems.
- Work across the full stack using PHP and JavaScript.
- Improve platform performance, stability, and scalability.
- Take ownership of key product areas while working with the founders and Technical Lead.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Proven experience with WordPress and/or WooCommerce.
- Experience building custom plugins or themes.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript; experience with vanilla JavaScript, React, or Vue is preferred.
- Experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
- Availability to work on site in the Nottingham office 2–3 days per week.
