Associate (Portfolio Strategy)

Location: New York, NY, United States; office-based position

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 base salary per year, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Lead quantitative and qualitative portfolio analysis for private market funds and custom client portfolios.
• Develop portfolio, fund financing, leverage, scenario, and sensitivity models to support portfolio construction and investment decisions.
• Analyze portfolio performance, attribution, risk factors, and the impact of financing strategies.
• Present data-driven recommendations and lead strategic portfolio and risk management initiatives.
• Conduct industry research and develop customized client solutions.
• Collaborate with deal teams, fund financing, sales, and other stakeholders on portfolio and fundraising strategy.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, consulting, advisory, or a related field.
• Experience in portfolio construction and risk management is preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for developing data-driven portfolio decisions.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with colleagues at different levels of seniority.
• Ability to work in the New York, United States office.
