2027 ARS Research Summer Intern (Alternative Investments)

Salary: $70,000–$72,000 USD annual base salary

What you will do

• Analyze existing and potential hedge fund manager investments across strategies and regions.
• Track and interpret investment strategy and capital markets trends.
• Assess new investment strategies and monitor conditions affecting existing strategies.
• Prepare monthly internal and external market and investment commentary.
• Communicate manager and strategy findings to the Investments department and Investment Committee.
• Participate in due diligence, strategy review meetings, and a summer industry project presentation.

Requirements

• Be a junior or third-year student pursuing a BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with strong academic performance.
• Demonstrate strong interest in the investment industry, particularly alternative investments.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication, organization, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Be adaptable, detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Be proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook and able to work occasional late nights and weekends.
• Be currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
