Senior Internal Audit Associate (AI)

Location: New York, NY, USA

Salary: $103,700–$153,500 per year at the start of employment in New York.

Publicly traded interactive entertainment company developing and publishing console, PC, mobile, online, and cloud-based gaming products through multiple global labels.

What you will do

• Lead risk-based operational, financial, compliance, and strategic audits across corporate functions and publishing labels.
• Execute SOX 404 walkthroughs and test the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, including IT General Controls.
• Manage audit planning, risk assessments, audit programs, fieldwork, workpapers, reporting, and remediation recommendations.
• Evaluate AI governance, model reliability, data security, privacy, intellectual property protections, and third-party technology risks.
• Use SQL, Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau, advanced Excel, generative AI, and automation for analytics, anomaly detection, and continuous monitoring.
• Present findings to management and participate in fraud investigations, special reviews, and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of progressive audit experience in public accounting or a publicly traded corporate internal audit environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA certification, or active pursuit of certification.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX Section 404, the COSO Internal Control Framework, and IIA Professional Standards.
• Practical experience with or strong interest in AI productivity tools, prompt optimization, data automation, and visualization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with creative, technical, and executive stakeholders.
