Senior Technical Artist (AAA Games)

What you will do

• Own performance analysis and optimization across the game project.
• Balance visual quality and performance for the target platform.
• Define, establish, and communicate performance budgets.
• Develop or request tools for performance tracking, profiling, and analysis.
• Use telemetry data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement areas.
• Collaborate with Rendering and Systems teams to optimize platform performance and visual fidelity.

Requirements

• Several years of professional Technical Artist experience in the games industry.
• Experience identifying bottlenecks, debugging, profiling, and optimizing game content for CPU, GPU, and memory.
• Deep understanding of game engine pipelines and graphics and rendering principles.
• Strong scripting skills with Python and the ability to read and navigate C++ codebases.
• Familiarity with HLSL or a similar shading language and an interest in shader development.
