Mission Systems Test Specialist (Avionics)

Location: Getafe, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible. The role includes flexibility to travel or work at different locations, including Seville and Manching.

What you will do

• Execute and support ground and flight integration tests for avionics and mission systems at subsystem, system, and aircraft level.
• Coordinate with Design Offices, Chief Engineering, Program Offices, and technical domains on system architecture and test strategy.
• Prepare and optimize test plans by reviewing and challenging Test Requests against verification and validation plans.
• Define test instrumentation and framework requirements for data reduction, monitoring, and telemetry follow-up.
• Support Flight Test Engineers with flight-test and simulator-session preparation, including safety monitoring.
• Write and analyze test reports, certification and qualification cards, and snags or problem reports, providing technical rationale for closure.

Requirements

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in integration testing of avionics and mission systems.
• Deep understanding of integration and test route maps and experience with Test Support Systems.
• Advanced or technical negotiation-level English and Spanish.
• Strong focus on meeting milestones, openness to process improvement, and flexibility to travel or work at different locations.

• Official training in integration and testing.
• Avionics background.
• NATO SECRET security clearance.
