Registered Nurse Cardiac Intermediate Full Time Nights

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Full-time night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekends.

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care to acutely ill patients in a 26-bed cardiac step-down unit.
• Assess patients, identify expected outcomes, and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care delivery and direct the work of assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document patient responses and update care plans based on clinical findings.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work full-time overnight shifts with rotating weekends.

Nice to have

• Cardiac nursing experience.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist certification.
• Emergency Communications Registered Nurse experience.
• Certified Pediatric Nurse or Certified Emergency Nurse certification.
