Senior Analyst, Business Controls (Asset Management Compliance)

What you will do

• Perform tier-one investment compliance monitoring for mutual funds, sub-advisor funds, and other portfolios managed by CAMI.
• Conduct controls testing, risk assessments, due diligence, and continuous compliance reviews.
• Monitor adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and portfolio management guidelines.
• Investigate control effectiveness, document review results, and identify significant changes, emerging trends, and risks.
• Prepare accurate reports for regulatory reporting within strict deadlines.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience performing complex tier-one asset management compliance reviews.
• Experience with controls testing, regulatory compliance, regulatory requirements, risk management, and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to assess time-sensitive requests and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong independent and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and document complex situations.
• Experience building relationships with internal and external Business Controls partners.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
