Process Manager, Operations (Logistics) (e-commerce/logistics): Optimizing fulfillment center and last-mile processes across five European markets with an accent on Lean, Six Sigma, workflow data analysis, and translating operational requirements into technical specifications. Location: Vienna HQ, hybrid; willingness to travel up to 50% across operational sites in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Romania

operates an integrated grocery delivery model with in-house technology, automated distribution centers, and same-day last-mile delivery across Central and Eastern Europe.
What you will do
- Analyze fulfillment center and last-mile workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes.
- Design target processes and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for Product Owners and developers.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, VSM, Ishikawa, and SIPOC methodologies to improve operational workflows.
- Define KPIs, develop ROI-focused business cases, and track the impact of process improvements after rollout.
- Create SOPs, training materials, and change management documentation while supporting implementation at operational sites.
- Collaborate with product, software engineering, and local operations teams to validate and scale solutions.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in operations, process engineering, or JIT logistics in e-commerce, retail, automotive, or 3PL environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of VSM, DMAIC, Ishikawa, and SIPOC.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Experience translating operational requirements into process documentation for software engineering teams.
- Experience creating SOPs, training materials, and change management frameworks.
- English at B2 level or higher and willingness to travel up to 50% across five European countries.
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Working knowledge of SQL, BI tools, or statistical analysis software.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum software development teams.
- Familiarity with warehouse automation, robotics, or automated logistics systems.
