Manager (Forensic Accounting)

What you will do

• Analyze sales, production, accounting, and source-document data for complex insurance claims.
• Perform quantitative analysis of long-tail and commercial casualty claim exposures.
• Build loss-allocation models and scenarios for mass-tort claims, including asbestos, PFAS, pharmaceuticals, and toxic torts.
• Collect, clean, transform, reconcile, and validate data used in modeling and final calculations.
• Prepare report narratives, schedules, analyses, and progress updates for clients, senior management, and stakeholders.
• Conduct interviews, physical inventory observations, price testing, and research while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, finance, economics, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience allocating long-tail insurance claims as a consultant or in-house professional.
• Strong knowledge of insurance principles, long-tail claims, and jurisdictional considerations.
• Excellent Excel, Word, data analysis, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to model qualitative issues quantitatively and manage multiple complex projects independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and maintain dependable attendance during established work hours.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python, VBA, HTML, or another coding language.
• Advanced degree.
