Manufacturing Associate I (mRNA)

Location: Oxford, England; 100% onsite

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing equipment and execute production operations for commercial mRNA vaccine batches in a cGMP-regulated environment.
• Follow SOPs, manufacturing documentation, gowning procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to complete manufacturing documentation and support batch disposition.
• Participate in incident and deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, and digital system issues and perform basic first-line maintenance.
• Contribute to operational KPIs, continuous improvement projects, digital manufacturing initiatives, and cross-functional work with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• University degree specializing in pharmaceutical production technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience preparing for audits or inspections and understanding health authority and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong collaboration, written and verbal communication, organizational, and digital skills.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail while handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to support off-hours work and overtime when required by manufacturing schedules.

• Experience with filtration and chromatography.
• Experience with cold chain management.
