Java Engineer

Location: Onsite five days a week in Chicago, Peoria, or Dallas, Illinois/Texas, United States. Up to 5% travel required. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $81,370–$122,060 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, and support software applications in an agile engineering team.
• Translate client requirements into practical technical solutions and improve workflows through automation.
• Write maintainable Java source code and contribute to application integration and ongoing maintenance.
• Apply automated testing practices to validate quality and ensure requirements are met.
• Collaborate on reliable digital solutions for customers and dealers.

Requirements

• Knowledge of software development tools, lifecycle practices, integration, and technical solution design.
• Ability to analyze situations, make informed decisions, and communicate technical ideas and stakeholder needs clearly.
• Hands-on, academic, or project experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge or experience with OpenSearch and Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of containerized deployments using AWS Fargate and Amazon ECS, plus microservices.
• Must be available to work onsite five days a week in Chicago, Peoria, or Dallas. Visa sponsorship is not available.
