Assistant Supervisor - 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) (Manufacturing)

Location: Cleveland, Mississippi, United States; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm

Salary: $52,000–$58,000 annually

What you will do

• Support daily production operations and set up manufacturing lines, operating equipment when needed and addressing staffing shortages.
• Promote a safe work environment through safety rules, 6S practices, Gemba walks, and Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop production employees in partnership with Manufacturing Supervisors.
• Review batch documentation, perform quality checks and preventive maintenance tasks, update electronic records, and disposition products.
• Lead troubleshooting with Quality and Maintenance teams, investigate root causes, and address safety, quality, mechanical, and process issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, value-stream activities, defect prevention programs, and tier meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus at least 6 months of manufacturing experience and demonstrated leadership skills.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills are required, including the ability to understand safety, quality, and work instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and follow GMPs, SOPs, specifications, BOMs, and process guidelines.
• Ability to obtain PIV Operator and Inspector certifications; ability to pass the PIV physical.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with POMS and Maximo is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and perform required physical movements.

Nice to have

• One year of experience as a Material Handler, Production Technician, or in an equivalent role.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out safety procedures and Environmental Health and Safety practices.
