Principal Product Manager (Capital Markets)

Location: New York City, New York, USA; hybrid schedule with at least 3 days per week in the office. Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $155,000–$287,000 per year, plus annual bonus or commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and drive product strategy across ideation, design, launch, iteration, and market adoption.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, design, testing, and demonstrations.
• Identify market opportunities and develop business cases and go-to-market strategies.
• Translate customer insights, market research, and competitive analysis into product requirements, roadmaps, and prioritization.
• Provide product performance updates, resource needs, and strategic recommendations to functional leaders.
• Oversee feasibility studies, field trials, and profitability analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of product management or related experience in technology or financial services.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across global, matrixed organizations.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including data-driven decision-making and outcome measurement.
• Experience managing complex product programs with multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
• Experience with US fixed income post-trade processing and accounting functions is required.

• Postgraduate degree such as an MBA or a relevant professional certification.
• Experience in capital markets, fintech, or regulated technology environments.
