TL;DR
EDI and Wellbeing Advisor (Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing): Coordinating programmes, campaigns, events and practical initiatives that support UKAEA’s EDI and wellbeing priorities with an accent on stakeholder engagement, communications and governance. Focus on managing the annual wellbeing calendar, analysing data, supporting benchmarking submissions and monitoring the impact of initiatives.

Location: Hybrid arrangement with regular onsite presence, usually three days per week, at a hirify.global site

Salary: £40,402 per year, plus up to a 7% corporate performance bonus

What you will do

  • Support equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing programmes, taking ownership of defined workstreams.
  • Develop and manage the annual wellbeing calendar, including campaigns, activities and events.
  • Plan and deliver EDI, inclusion and wellbeing events and engagement activities.
  • Produce communications, campaign materials, briefings and intranet content.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, support internal wellbeing communities and facilitate meetings.
  • Analyse data, maintain accurate records, support benchmarking submissions and monitor initiative impact.

Requirements

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification, progress towards one, or equivalent experience in HR, EDI, wellbeing or another people-focused role.
  • Experience providing high-quality customer service and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including analysing and presenting information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing competing priorities.
  • Regular onsite presence is required, usually three days in any given week, in line with business needs.
