Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Fully remote from the United Kingdom; the company also supports hybrid and remote working from its Ashburton office.

Salary: £55,000–£65,000 per year depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus scheme.

What you will do

• Deliver Azure cloud infrastructure and modernisation projects from planning and design through configuration, testing, and release.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and deploy Microsoft Azure solutions aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Deliver client workshops, health checks, and escalation support for front-line teams.
• Analyse existing business practices and identify opportunities for modernisation.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong technical experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services, including App Services, databases, storage, backup, recovery, and Azure Monitor.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, modern authentication, and single sign-on.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, networking concepts, hybrid network design, and Microsoft reference architectures.
• Experience deploying infrastructure and platform solutions across on-premises, hybrid, or cloud-native environments, preferably at enterprise scale.
• Experience working for an MSP or service provider and managing multiple Azure projects to tight timescales.
• AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification or equivalent demonstrable expertise.

Nice to have

• AZ-700, AZ-900, AZ-140, or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with digital transformation and modern Azure platform services beyond lift-and-shift virtual machine migrations.
