What you will do

• Support the availability, stability, performance, security, and scalability of Capital Markets systems for global enterprise clients.
• Build and deploy Linux and database environments in AWS.
• Support and maintain client applications running in AWS.
• Administer AWS compute, storage, networking, security, Linux, PostgreSQL, and Aurora resources.
• Work with project managers to estimate and coordinate environment builds.
• Complete project work within agreed timeframes and communicate delivery risks promptly.

Requirements

• Experience with core AWS services, including EC2, RDS, ELB, EBS, S3, VPC, Glacier, and IAM.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
• Good knowledge of Red Hat or Oracle Linux administration and PostgreSQL or Aurora databases.
• Networking knowledge and scripting ability in Shell and Python.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT or Engineering, or comparable industry certification.
• Good communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and time-management skills; willingness to work after-hours, shifts, and on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Red Hat, Kubernetes, AWS, or other relevant certifications.
• Ability to work independently and produce clear technical documentation.
