Software-Defined Network Engineer (NSX-T)

Location: Hybrid work with two office days per week in Prague, Brno, or Pardubice, Czech Republic

What you will do

• Manage and configure software-defined networks using VMware NSX, NSX-T, and Cisco ACI in company data centers.
• Configure NSX-T firewalls and contribute to network security standards and vulnerability management.
• Automate bulk SDN configuration through native APIs and develop scripts integrating firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ISE, IPAM, CMDB, and ServiceNow.
• Analyze and resolve complex operational issues in data centers and network infrastructure.
• Create and maintain network documentation, participate in infrastructure projects, and implement new services and technologies.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and coordinate with other departments on projects and services.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and layer architecture.
• Knowledge of SDN networks used in data centers and VMware technologies, including containerization.
• Programming or scripting skills related to infrastructure automation.
• Czech language proficiency is required.
• English proficiency at B2 level is required.
• Category B driving license, reliability, analytical problem-solving skills, independence, and resilience in stressful situations.
