Solution Architect - Agentic Reporting (AI)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical design of ZAAi, Zurich’s agentic AI platform for actuarial and financial reporting.
• Design governed, traceable data integrations from actuarial and finance source systems into the agentic framework.
• Define the architecture across data connectors, MCP tool-use, LLM orchestration, deterministic compute, domain skills, and persistent memory.
• Translate actuarial and finance workflows into agentic designs, including automation boundaries and human review controls.
• Define evaluation, tracing, observability, latency, token-cost, reproducibility, and hallucination controls.
• Coordinate technical decisions across Zurich IT, actuarial and finance experts, data teams, infrastructure teams, and the Reconverz vendor.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in solution architecture, preferably with data-intensive or reporting systems in financial services.
• Hands-on understanding of actuarial or finance reporting in an insurance or financial-services group, including BU, regional, and group-level data aggregation.
• Enterprise experience architecting AI or LLM-based applications and solid knowledge of agentic patterns, tool-use, MCP, orchestration, and prompt-to-compute boundaries.
• Experience with AI evaluation, tracing, observability, hallucination controls, cost controls, prompt-injection defence, safe tool execution, PII handling, and responsible-AI guardrails.
• Cloud data platform experience; Azure and Databricks are preferred.
• Anthropic Claude certification, regulated IT governance experience, and a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Actuarial Science, Finance, or equivalent senior experience.
