Finance Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work

What you will do

• Support the monthly financial close process and prepare variance explanations.
• Collect and analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports, summaries, presentations, and business insights.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with finance process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Participate in ad hoc projects while supporting compliance with finance policies, internal controls, and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management, or a related discipline.
• Available for a 6-month full-time internship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using financial analysis tools.
• Basic understanding of corporate accounting, financial principles, and forecasting.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
