Senior Analyst, Financial Operations (Fintech)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Salary: MYR 81,489–122,234, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Monitor the end-to-end global client transaction lifecycle, respond to enquiries, identify exceptions, and coordinate issue resolution with operations and other departments.
• Monitor clearing and settlement of client funds and global money pools.
• Support data-driven improvements to liquidity management, fund risk management, treasury efficiency, and utilization.
• Maintain the team knowledge base, improve standard operating procedures, and explore process-optimization and automation tools.
• Build performance metrics, quality-assurance frameworks, and monitoring tools for operational risks and control defects.
• Support compliant, accurate, and timely reporting based on regulatory and third-party requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and more than two years of experience in data or operations teams.
• Experience in payments, banking, foreign exchange, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, customer-service awareness, attention to detail, adaptability, and results orientation.
• Good reading and writing skills in both English and Chinese are required.
• Experience with MS Office and SQL is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Tableau, or Looker.
