What you will do

  • Oversee financial reporting under US GAAP, treasury operations, cash forecasting, liquidity, intercompany funding, and regional capital structures.
  • Lead corporate income tax, indirect tax, statutory filing, audit, and statutory financial statement activities across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
  • Identify financial control gaps, tax compliance issues, and statutory delays, then develop and execute corrective plans independently.
  • Partner with country managers, finance directors, legal and tax teams, auditors, tax authorities, and banking partners.
  • Manage corporate secretarial matters, board director registrations, director liability risks, and permanent-establishment exposure.
  • Lead finance systems strategy, ERP implementations and integrations, process automation, and organizational change management.

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of progressive controllership, audit, or tax leadership experience in multinational organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory filings, tax compliance, and regulatory audits in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • Experience managing treasury, cash forecasting, intercompany financing, and loans.
  • Ability to work independently in a complex regional environment and resolve compliance matters end to end.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting statutory and tax risks to executive, finance, legal, and business stakeholders.

  • Experience in music, entertainment, licensing, media, or another IP-intensive industry.
