Data Steward - Master Data Management SAP

Location: Hybrid in the Lisbon area or fully remote within Portugal

What you will do

• Ensure the quality, consistency, integrity, and continuous improvement of master data and metadata.
• Analyze data quality issues and drive sustainable improvement initiatives.
• Document data flows, transformations, and business processes across the data lifecycle.
• Support data governance, compliance, security, ETL, data migration, and validation activities in the SAP environment.
• Collaborate with business departments, IT teams, data owners, and international stakeholders.
• Manage data-related incidents, improve processes, and promote a data-driven culture.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Management, or a comparable field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Quality.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data integration; SAP MDG is an advantage.
• Familiarity with master data management, data quality, data governance, data privacy, compliance, and GDPR.
• Experience with Python and process automation is beneficial.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level is required; occasional travel is expected.
