Process Lead (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control.
• Own the integrity of the Line Event Data System and analyze line losses.
• Design, implement, and maintain systems for collecting and analyzing critical product and process data.
• Prioritize improvement opportunities with Line and Maintenance Leads and contribute to 90-day planning.
• Develop standards and procedures to reduce process variation and eliminate losses across process and packing lines.
• Build production-team capability, coach equipment owners, and ensure solutions are cost-efficient without compromising quality or reliability.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or proven process or continuous improvement experience.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with waste-identification projects and Lean methods for eliminating waste and losses.
• Hands-on problem-solving skills and understanding of mechanical principles used in food-processing equipment.
• Ability to work on-site in Northland, New Zealand.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing qualification.
