TL;DR

Focus on leading multidisciplinary scopes, mentoring engineers, managing external consultants, and improving the reliability and compliance of generation assets.

What you will do

  • Provide technical leadership across different renewable electricity generation asset types during project delivery.
  • Advise stakeholders on complex mechanical and operational challenges.
  • Lead investigations into plant failures and conduct mechanical risk assessments.
  • Develop asset management plans and support maintenance and project activities.
  • Lead external consultants and technically challenging work scopes across engineering disciplines.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide professional and technical leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Ideally, at least 10 years of professional experience in the generation, consulting, or engineering industry.
  • Experience providing mechanical expertise to stakeholders on complex challenges.
  • Experience leading complex work scopes, managing deliverables, and working across engineering disciplines.
  • Understanding of maintenance, projects, asset management, and project delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of compliance, health and safety, engineering, and management practices in the electricity industry.
